About
Ah… the “about” page. For some this is an under-utilized (if utilized at all) blurb that says the name, nationality, and numerical age of the nubile netbased-newshound. For others it’s the best place to tell all who visit everything they ever wanted to know about the author, despite the reader’s unease with knowing said author smoked pot for 5 years, had 4 felony charges, 3 sex changes, 2 girlfriends, and a car which honks whenever you turn on the left blinker (while, admittedly, the last one would be very funny).
For me, it’s a pleasant combination of the two extremes.
My name, or what I answer to most of the time, is Zet, short for Zettler. I’m a 20-something living comfortably in the South Carolina area working as the IT Department(yes, it’s just me) for the BMW Car Club of America. I don’t pretend to know everything about technology, but what I do know I’m very good at.
As far as WoW goes, my human warlock, Teris, is my digital pride-and-joy despite the ups and downs of the class. I started playing in Vanilla, but never got into the Raiding aspect (as I didn’t really know how to play the game). After a brief year-long hiatus, a few friends of mine started playing again, so I once again picked up my sword to fight the Horde! It is then that I started raiding seriously (though limited to 3 or 4 nights a week as a limit). After piddling around with, oh, 10ish guilds, my college friends and I started our own RP guild. It fell apart due to:
1) lack of RP-minded individuals who were not guilded and
2) Our extremely selective guilding process.
After another stint as raiders in other people’s guilds, enough of us had amased decent reputations, good gear, and superior understanding of the game to launch our own raiding guild, Sons of the Dragon, which still remains to this day.
And that, as they say, is that.

I'm Zet (or Zettler) and I'm the author of most of the content you'll find on this blog. I play a human warlock on Blackwater Raiders and am at current the Raid Leader for Sons of the Dragon - Red Team. I've been playing WoW for about 5 years, off and on, and have experienced most of the raiding content offered.
